Golf Equipment to produce an ‘inexpensive and effective’ Golf Game

IMHO, Golf Equipment is way over priced. I bought an a Compromise ‘Voodoo’ Putter a few years ago. It felt good at the golf store, I dropped a bunch of putts on the artificial green they had there so, I bought it for $130.00. When I took it out at the golf course, I found out I couldn’t putt worth a shit with it. I decided to try an experiment, I went to Wal-Mart, and got a putter that looked like an ‘Odyssey 2-Ball Putter’, it cost me 20 bucks ( also, I had a different grip put on it). First time I used it, I made everything in sight, Draino ! I was on to something, months later, I bought a ‘potatoe masher’ style putter at K-Mart for $25, it’s style was similar to the putters made by some major golf equipment manufacturers.

Bottom line, you can’t ’buy yourself  a game’. Jack Nicklaus said ‘Golf is 90 % mental’, so let’s get thinking, and find some golf equipment that affordable, and effective.

THE FLYING CLUBS

We can all get frustrated on the course. Our rage can occasionally result in throwing our clubs. This is considered very bad form and you can injure your fellow players. If for some reason you find yourself hurling clubs, throw them forward; that way at least you can pick them up on the way to your ball and not slow the game down.

BTW, I  hope that wasn't a $400 Driver that went flying !

Golf Tips, Hitting the Driver

Golf Tip:

What's the one thing almost every single golfer does when they step up to the first tee with their driver in their hands? If you said hit the ball as far as possible you'd be correct! However, the smart golfers say to themselves that they'd rather hit the ball WHERE they want, not as FAR as possible.

The one question you need to ask yourself on every is this: "Is this a high-risk or low-risk shot?" If the answer is high-risk, take the 3-wood, which you should be better able to control.

Great Prices
Can you afford it?
